Peter von Pelm is a beautiful 1-2 year old German Shepherd. This sweet soul was sad and neglected when we first rescued him, but we see him beginning to flourish from the love and care he is given by our staff.  He has a calm-cool-and-collected persona with both people and other dogs.  Sweetheart that he is, he will snuggle into you, sit on command and take treats gently. On walks he does well on leash, staying close to you even if he is walking in a pack of 6 dogs.  In playgroups he seems comfortable around other dogs but opts to sit in the bleachers and watch the game.  Peter will sport a permanent smile on  his face if he gets to go home with you!
